The Media Composer version 12 is a completely uncompressed non linear editing system. It is fully compatible with Avid offline suites so that all programme information is carried from the offline to the online, including dissolves, wipes, keys, titles, colour grading and all effects, even audio dissolves, levels and equalisation.

The Avid Media Composer is equivalent to an Adrenaline with virtually identical features. It does have the advantage of realtime playouts and rollers.
